Tender Super is a collaborative, grassroots, community performance group based in Staunton, Virginia.

We focus on Experimental, Minimalist, Inclusive, Original Theater and Film.

Written, produced, directed, and performed by Stauntonians!

Hugbox Sketch Comedy was going to be part of Valley Playhouse‘s 3rd Annual Downstage! Downtown! Community Theater Fest but due to Virginia’s Stay At Home Order, the festival has been cancelled.

Our 2020 Summer Tour is also on hold until we can get together to rehearse & enter performance venues again!

In the meantime, enjoy our first film “Peggy Perkins’ Self-Defense System” !!!

We are also working on creative ways to do sketch comedy remotely.

Hugbox is an original, collaborative, sketch comedy show!

We premiered in March 2019 with our soft opening show “Adventurous Sketchies” and followed with our “Funny Taste Good” Summer Tour.

We can’t wait for our next show coming as soon as it’s safe to leave our houses whenever that might be!

Hugbox Sketch Comedy

Our main project is Hugbox, an all original, collaborative sketch comedy troupe. Check us out on Facebook and Instagram @hugboxsketch or hugboxsketch.com.

We have also been involved in some film projects and as of Spring 2020 have a few more lined up. We will also be expanding our project list in the near future! Stay tuned for script workshops, more theatrical productions, and film collaborations.

This Hugbox sketch was shot over the winter of 2019/2020 with the help of filming duo Ed & Mary! Film released October 2020!
